TOUR DESCRIPTION

We begin the adventure to the Jesuitical reminders, the legacy of the religion that joined Spanish conquistadors and local south Americans. Pailón gate greets us as we enjoy the view traveling through this remarkable place. Get to know the Piedras del Paquío, a collection of rocks from remote ages. As the day slowly comes to an end, it’s time for a well deserved rest, since the adventure has just begun, and we have an exciting day ahead.

Overnight stay at local hotel La Misión or similar, in San Ignacio.

After a delicious breakfast, we are ready to go on with this journey visiting colonial churches, walk around this town stuck somewhere back in time enjoying its landscapes. After a lunch break, we move forward to San Ignacio, where you’ll learn about this part of history, local music and native instruments, getting to know the town’s people in a much more intimate manner. Enjoy dinner and get ready to rest, as we still have a day ahead.

Overnight stay at local hotel Gran Hotel Concepción or similar, in Concepción.

After a well deserved rest and have a good breakfast, we are finally ready to visit Concepción, the crown jewel of Jesuit missions in South America with its hand crafted churches in wood centuries ago, as we go by other remarkable landmarks. Further, visit the Missions museum and local artisanal marketplaces so we can reach Zapoco, a beautiful landscape where we can refresh and rest enjoying the view. Now it’s time to go to back to Santa Cruz, with an amazing experience in your memory.
